POPE FRANCIS VISIT TO CUBA, SEPTEMBER 2015
Miami.- All organizations members of Consenso Cubano* have welcomed with joy and hope the news of the trip to Cuba by Pope Francis. We share the conviction that the good offices of His Holiness could contribute decisively to promote a much needed culture of dialogue amongst all Cubans so that we, together, may meet the challenges facing the Nation.
*Consenso Cubano (2005-) is a group of Cuban political, social, labor, cultural, intellectual, religious and human rights organizations, committed to a process of reconciliation and to a non-violent transition in Cuba to a sovereign state under the rule of law.
